Terms of Service

By accessing and using the SwiftNews app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SwiftNews mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SwiftNews, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

  • All content, features, and functionality of SwiftNews (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by SwiftNews or its licensors
  • SwiftNews content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission

Third-Party Content:

  • SwiftNews aggregates content from various third-party sources
  • Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners
  • We do not claim ownership of third-party content displayed in our app
  • You must respect the intellectual property rights of content creators and publishers

User-Generated Content:

  • If you submit content to SwiftNews (comments, reviews, etc.), you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content
  • You represent that you have the right to grant such license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights

Content Accuracy and Disclaimer

  • SwiftNews aggregates content from various sources and does not verify the accuracy of all information
  • We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content
  • News articles and opinions expressed are those of the original authors, not SwiftNews
  • You acknowledge that you use content at your own risk

Prohibited Content

SwiftNews reserves the right to remove or block access to content that:

  • Violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
  • Is defamatory, libelous, or fraudulent
  • Contains explicit sexual content or violence
  • Promotes illegal activities
  • Violates privacy rights

Service Availability and Modifications

  • SwiftNews strives to provide reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
  • We may update the app with new features, bug fixes, or changes to functionality
  • We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from service interruptions or modifications

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • SwiftNews is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • SwiftNews shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SwiftNews, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you submit or transmit through the Service

Termination

  • You may stop using SwiftNews at any time
  • SwiftNews may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

Changes to Terms

SwiftNews reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will:

  • Your continued use of SwiftNews after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the appropriate courts
  • You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class actions
